GRUENE, TX, October 26, 2024 – Cantina del Rio of Molak Corp presented $1,000 to Comal ISD’s Canyon Athletic Booster Club using funds raised during the “Taco Turf War”. The promotion allowed patrons to support either the New Braunfels Unicorns or the Canyon Cougars by placing their receipt in one of the team’s football helmets. The promotion ran for two weeks leading up to the annual Wurst Bowl game on September 6th. Canyon Cougars took the win in both the game and the fundraiser at Cantina del Rio.
