Dive into the art of pyrography and ignite your imagination this summer with my beginner friendly Wood Burning classes!
I walk the class through the basics of wood burning by having the designs pre-stenciled and limiting the types of tips needed, allowing us to focus on temperature, hand pressure and movement across the wood grain. I answer questions and offer guidance to help each student start to become comfortable with the heat tool and this medium.
All materials and equipment are provided, and each class begins with a safety briefing. In the event of a behavioral safety issue, the liable party will receive one warning before being asked to leave out of safety for all class participants. No refunds or rescheduling will be allowed in those instances.
No prior experience required – just bring your enthusiasm and let your creativity soar! If you have your own heat tool/burner at home, feel free to bring it with you!
Classes are open to ages 12+ and include One (1) Free Drink (soda/water/well/beer/wine).
Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
